Oxygenates Analyzer

Nowadays the oxygenates content is a substantial part of finished gasoline. These fuel oxygenates are added to help to reduce the use of harmful gasoline components and help to achieve a cleaner combustion.
Fuel oxygenates offer a number of benefits when added to gasoline, including:
- Reducing and displacing cancer-causing gasoline compounds such as Benzene, Toluene, Xylenes and Ethylbenzene.
- 'Anti-knock' agents to increase the octane number and decrease emissions by replacing organo-lead compounds.
- Reducing air toxic emissions year-around.
National governments all over the world have specified the concentration levels of the individual oxygenates, which can be added to the gasoline. And these must be measured!
ASTM D4815 is frequently chosen as the standard method for the determination of these oxygenated compounds in gasoline.
The Facts
The JAS Oxygenates in Gasoline Analyzer is a robust, reliable and sophisticated solution, which not only meets the ASTM D4815 requirements, but even exceeds these requirements!
The JAS Oxygenates Analyzer makes use of the famous JAS UNIS 500 S/SL inlet and a JAS proprietary polar column. This JAS proprietary polar column reduces the interference of co-eluting olefins to almost zero. As a result of this, the JAS Oxygenates Analyzer is proven to be a highly efficient, cost-effective and time-saving solution.
The JAS Report Generator software gives you the Mass% Oxygen Report.
The Options
JAS has various options available to adapt and extend the JAS Oxygenates Analyzer to your specific application(s):
- Liquid sampling valves
- Various automated liquid samplers
- Alternative- or additional tuning for ASTM D5580
ASTM D5580, "Standard Test Method for Determination of Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, p/m-Xylene, o-Xylene, C9 and Heavier Aromatics, and Total Aromatics in Finished Gasoline". This method makes use of the same hardware as ASTM D4815.
