JAS CryoTrap is a fully integrated device to efficiently trap high volatile compounds before chromatographic separation. This is useful in order to avoid peak broadering and improve peak shape in the chromatogram. Incorrect peak identification and peak integration can be avoided.

The JAS CryoTrap is designed for use with an Agilent 7890/6890 GC. It combines the newest economic and technical advantages, like low thermal mass, efficient insulation and maximum heating power. Features which ensure a fast heating and an economic cooling, and additionally provide excellent performance at any oven temperature. An extremely fast heating of the trapping zone (up to 700°C/min) allows a rapid re-vaporization of the trapped compounds. As a result sharp peaks and a high peak resolution even of low boiling components are obtained.

Various cooling options provide complete flexibility to guarantee the most effective analytical conditions for your analytical needs.

JAS CryoTrap is controlled either by Agilent ChemStation software or by GC keyboard. The trap conditions may be embedded into every GC method.
