Atomic Emission Detector - AED

The jas AED-plus is the only commercially available atomic emission detector for gas chromatography. The AED-plus lets you detect virtually all elements within any volatized compound (except helium, the carrier gas) at picogram-level sensitivities, with excellent selectivities. A single GC-AED System can replace multiple dedicated GC Systems that use element-specific detectors. It‘s the instrument of choice for analyzing crude oils and (FCC) feedstocks.

• Sample screening for specific elements prior to GC-MSD with selective detection of more than 20 pre-set elements, including organometallic species and compounds labelled with stabile isotopes;

• 10x more sensitive, with more linearity than GC-FPD for sulfur.
