Scotti® is a new trend in high throughput laboratories, that enables them to optimize the chain of custody and audit trail control.

The Scotti® based product line is the first electronically controlled storing, transferring and retrieval system that uses RFID to retain information about samples. The chip utilizes radio frequencies (RF) to input information about the sample into his Data Memory (DM), that is located on the sample container and provides tracking of the sample during sample preparation. The information stored in the RFID tag could be as detailed as a standard operating procedure (SOP) or as simple as a replacement for bar coding. Scotti® allows the user to collect and store data about their samples, from collection to analysis, establishing a complete chain of custody or audit trails.
