MSD High Temperature Transfer Line
The programmable High Temperature Transfer Line for Agilent 5973 and 5975 mass spectrometers paves the way for new analytical possibilities.
Due to its low thermal mass temperatures of 450°C can be achieved. This enables its users to analyze without discrimination high boiling compounds with the MS. Additionally it offers very fast temperature ramps.
After developing the programmable HT Transfer Line for the AED (up to 450°C),
now also expands the limits of the technical feasible for MSD customers.
With this product is able to offer the system configuration GC-MSD-AED in a complete high temperature version – from the UNIS HT Inlet to the detectors AED and MSD. Thus, the until now prevailing temperature limitations on behalf of the MSD do not apply anymore.
The following maximum temperatures can be achieved:
- ·450°C for the detector/ the detectors
- ·500°C for the injector
- ·400°C for the auxiliary
The entire construction is made of SS.
Due to the combination of the In-Vacuum-Insulation and the used materials the until now known insulation measures of the standard MSD transfer lines are not needed anymore, which results in an ideal performance.
AED High Temperature Transfer Line
The jas programmable AED HT transfer Line (JAS G2382AA) offers its users unique analytical possibilities.
Its ultra low thermal mass construction minimizes discrimination and additionally allows very fast temperature ramps. It is completely inte-grated into the Agilent Technologies ChemStation SW and programmable up to 450°C .
This paves the way for a much broader range of applications, since more high boiling compounds (e.g. C60 – C100+) can be considered in the analytical work. In addition, jas focused on the elimination of cold spots to enable runs with a very uniform temperature profile.
This AED HT Transfer Line, in combination with the JAS high temperature inlet UNIS 3100 (JAS 77200) and a suitable HT column adds new possibilities to e.g. your research work or simulated distillation.
