Our unique all-in-one inlet system - UNIS, incorporates the latest developments in injector technologies. offers all common GC based detectors as well as the new AED-plus, a unique, highly selective and sensitive element specific detector. Also we are experienced in integrating several third-party sample preparation and transfer systems.

Atomic Emission Detector - AED

The Atomic Emission Detector is the only commercially available atomic emission detector for gas chromatography. The AED lets you detect virtually all elements within any volatized compound (except helium, the carrier gas) at picogram-level sensitivities, with excellent selectivities. A single GC-AED system can replace multiple dedicated GC systems that use element-specific detectors. It‘s the instrument of choice for analyzing crude oils and (FCC) feedstocks.

Main Features:

• Emission Spectra „Snapshot“ to prove or disprove the presence of elements;
• Sample screening for specific elements prior to GC-MSD with selective detection of more than 20 pre-set elements, including organometallic species and compounds labelled with stabile isotopes;
• 5x more sensitive than GC-FID for carbon;
• 10x more sensitive, with more linearity than GC-FPD for sulfur.
